In keeping with its commitment to the betterment of society, Semnox Solutions has been fulfilling its CSR goals consistently over the past couple of years. The company’s contribution to various social initiatives for the period 2018 – 19 stood at Rs 25 lac.
Riya Foundation, Mangalore, Government Modern Higher Primary School (Byndoor), 15 government schools in Ananthpur and Hindpur districts (Andhra Pradesh), Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and the CM’s relief fund are some of the beneficiaries of Semnox’s CSR projects over the past year.
The company aims to spend an equal amount on CSR initiatives in FY 2019-20. Looking to focus on deserving educational institutions that genuinely need help, Semnox is willing to arm them with infrastructural facilities, especially in rural areas. Sanitation and clean drinking water facilities in schools top the list.
CSR is a government mandated initiative in India which requires companies to spend a certain percentage of its profits on projects that impact societies socially, economically or environmentally. However, Semnox believes in contributing to this mandate in spirit, with sincere support and cooperation to make a difference, rather than just be compliant.
